Is life better when we live within the rules? When conformity is essential, the unexpected consequences of stepping outside the boundaries reveal themselves in Don’ts for Dancers. Based on the 1925 book of the same name, performer/curator Nicole Canham teams up with choreographer Nerida Matthaei, Alex Bryce and Leah Shelton in this hour-long live music and dance piece that is part- time capsule, part- commentary on past and present attitudes to breaking or living within the rules.
