John Dowland’s Lachrimæ or seaven teares figured in seaven passionate pavans, songs from his Pilgrim’s Solace, works by William Byrd, John Blow, Elvis Costello and a new work by Brooke Green: Phoenix Chaconne are among the delights of this year’s St Cecilia program.
