The Australian Art Orchestra presents its third month-long residency, ElectroACOUSTIC AcousticELECTRO, at the Bennetts Lane Jazz Club. This residency will be the first concert series curated by our new Artistic Director, Peter Knight. The concerts will feature collaborations between the AAO and a diverse range of guest artists forming a different quintet each week for four Thursdays and will feature some of Melbourne’s most exciting improvisers including. Peter Knight describes the music as “provocative, evocative, visceral then calming, but always richly textural,” and is looking forward to working with "an extraordinary group of musicians, to bring together unexpected groupings and different approaches and see what happens”.
