Event Details
Curated by ELISION and presented by Julian Day and the ABC, this concert gives Australian audiences the chance to hear key repertoire by composers who have had long-standing associations with the ensemble, composers that have had a large influence upon the artistic direction of the group, as well as an intriguing line-up of composers who are working with the ensemble for the first time.
Supported by an ARC linkage grant, ELISION and SIAL Sound (RMIT) have undertaken a long-term research project into the spatialisation of instrumental gesture. Some of this research will be incorporated into the large-scale electroacoustic work codex ix.
