Event Details

ELISION in Session presents new work of Australasian composers Robert Dahm and Jeroen Speak as well as rarely heard work from Michael Finnissy and a new work from Richard Barrett - the latest installment from the CONSTRUCTION cycle. The melismatic and hyper-virtuosity of this repertoire is complemented by the surprising dramaturgy of pieces by composers Roger Redgate and Evan Johnson.

Performers: ELISION ensemble, conducted by Hamish McKeich and featuring soloists Richard Haynes, Paula Rae, Peter Neville, Graeme Jennings, Tristram Williams and Peter Veale.

Featured non-Australian music: Richard Barrett, Michael Finnissy, Evan Johnson, Roger Redgate, Jeroen Speak
