Everything Is In Motion is an autonomous sound-and-movement sculpture barely under the control of its maker, Footscray artist Clinton Green.
Driven by multiple turntables, objects placed both on the record platters and suspended overhead strike each other at intervals that at first appear random, but build into a complex composition of rhythm and movement. All parts are in motion, and stability is relative.
Spend some time with Everything Is In Motion and contemplate the mysteries of pattern and chaos.
