Don’t miss your chance to see Fauré’s most enduring and beloved work next week when Queensland Symphony Orchestra is joined by soprano Stacey Alleaume, baritone Christopher Richardson, Brisbane Chamber Choir, and Lumens Chamber Choir.
At the heart of the program is Fauré’s Requiem. Unlike the fire and fury of traditional requiems, Fauré’s is gentle, luminous, and deeply human.
Plus, hear Maria Grenfell’s brilliant and joyful Gaudete Fanfare and Katy Abbott’s reflective Fanfare for the Melancholy.
