ABC Classic FM and JOLT Arts with support from the Footscray Community Arts Centre present a special tribute concert to the iconoclastic Australian composer Felix Werder. Virtuoso pianist Michael Kieran Harvey performs alongside leading Australian contemporary music ensembles Speak Percussion and the Silo Quartet in a program that celebrates Werder’s ongoing compositional legacy. Warren Burt will present an electronic restoration of Werder’s 1974 work ‘The Tempest’. The event will also be recorded by ABC Classic FM for broadcast on New Music Up Late on Saturday 25 February.
