Event Details
Headline act Forenzics play experimental improvised music with soundscape, ambient., noise, psych, drone, art-rock, post-rock and post-punk leanings, and consists of 2 guitars, 1 trumpet, 1 drummer, too many pedals, kaoss, and random objects. They play without limits and boundaries, the only is that the music be created there and then, without restrictions on genre, texture, format or structure. They will be joined on stage by regular collaborator Joe Cummins (The Splinter Orchestra) on trumpet and Kaoss, and Aemon Webb (Varlets, Nhomea) on drums. Sharing the bill will be Violence in Action, a massive John Zorn inspired, improvised yet conducted game piece collective founded by Lachlan Kerr, the enigmatic folk rock and punk act The Effing Seas, and psych pop 4 piece Ye Luddites.
