Bianca Gannon creates synaesthesia-like experiences for her audience to bathe their senses in colour. Nodding to distinguished artist Mark Rothko’s immersive painting Four Darks in Red, this event transports its audience to a new intense yet meditative realm. Through the power of the gong and the other-worldly resonance of the gamelan, Bianca Gannon’s music fuses with the lingering notes of the site-specific Four Pillars in Red Cocktail she’s created for the event. Likewise both roving musician Adam Simmons and dancer Ade Suharto gently penetrate the red haze created by lighting technician Bronwyn Pringle. The Four Reds will enhance one another in new enlightening ways.
