Event Details
Arcko Symphonic Project begins 2012 with a glance back to one of the most iconic works of French modernism, Pierre Boulez's Le Marteau sans Maître (1955) for chamber ensemble set to poetry by René Char.
From the surrealist to the symbolist, this program pairs Le Marteau sans Maître with Kevin March's chamber setting of Arthur Rimbaud's poem Ophélie (2007). Arcko continues to exhibit the diversity of modern chamber music spanning from the 50s to today.
