Celebrating George Dreyfus and Peter Tahourdin (1928-2009) - two well-known Australian composers, both born in 1928 - and acknowledging Tahourdin's role as a senior lecturer in composition at the Conservatorium. The program contrasts early works for winds by each with later compositions, including the rarely performed Raga Music 3, commissioned by the ELISION ensemble in 1988.
