Horsley & Williams duo and guest vocal ensemble Alilo directed by celebrated ethnomusicologist Nino Tsitsishvili explore the heritage of Georgian traditional music.
Folk instruments including the plucked string panduri and recorder-like salamuri will support the beautiful harmony created by the vocalists. A finishing touch to this superb program is the world premiere of a new work by emerging Australian composer Jakob Bragg, capturing his response to the ethereal resonance of traditional Georgian music.
