Event Details

Celebrate Lanyon Homestead’s autumn harvest and gardens. Explore the property and immerse yourself in the kitchen gardens. Take a tour of the historic homestead and view the outbuildings, kitchen and stable. Or just bring a picnic rug, enjoy some music and play some lawn games in the gardens overlooking the Murrumbidgee River and Brindabellas. We have free music in the gardens and coffee and ice-cream stalls for a quick caffeine or snack fix. You can even pre-book your picnic hamper or Devonshire Tea for your picnic.

We also have a range of ticketed events. For our garden lovers, join the bush tucker and veggie growing talks. Get creative with our 'air-bee-n-bee hotel', bee wax candles and Victorian floristry workshops. For kids, we have the Garden Drawing Trail. Or join one of the free garden or homestead tours.

  • Free entry to the gardens. If you're not booking into a ticketed event, just register your attendance. ACT Health requires that participants to organised cultural events register their visit. Just click on the REGISTRATION tile on the Events page.
