The Hatched Composer Showcase is an evening of fresh ideas, celebrating the next generation of musical thinkers. On November 12, five innovative composers from around the country debut their unique musical perspectives under the expert guidance of Ensemble Offspring's virtuosic instrumentalists. The culmination of a year-long mentorship with the ensemble, guest harpist Emily Granger and international composers including Hatched patron Brett Dean, this program unites Australia's emerging and accomplished sonic trailblazers. Witness our future cultural leaders as they hatch, step into the light and let their imaginations fly!
