Event Details
Joined by Susannah Lawergren of the Song Company, the Hourglass Ensemble present premiere song cycles by Australian composers.
Richard Grantham's mystical "Finally After All This" is a eulogy for a loved one not-yet dead. Amber Evans' "Stained Red Heart" explores parenthood and the apology to Stolen Generations. And a poignant new song from Margaret Muller draws together all the people who call Australia home.
The concert includes the daring flute sonata by Sydneysider Harry Sdraulig, and the sunny and beloved Kegelstatt trio by Mozart.
Featured non-Australian music: Mozart
