Acclaimed guitarist and composer James Muller is back at The Sound Lounge in his renowned quartet format. James has recorded 4 CDs under his own name, with two winning ARIAs. His last release, Kaboom, recorded in New York, was called ‘his best recording to date’ (SMH). He has worked with the cream of the world’s jazz musicians including internationals John Scofield, Chad Wackerman, Nigel Kennedy and Christian McBride as well as performing regularly with many of Australia’s greats, including James Morrison, Vince Jones, Mark Isaacs Resurgence Band and the Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra. As a bandleader, he is best known for his longstanding trio, but his quartet featuring brilliant saxophonist Matt Keegan, is quickly gaining him critical and audience acclaim.
