Due to extreme demand at the April launch we have decided to do an encore performance of this great evening of music.
‘Make Some Noise’, the Johannes Luebbers Dectet’s much anticipated debut album, was officially launched in April. Formed in 2007, this dynamic young ensemble fuses elements of contemporary jazz with classical music and pop music, creating an exciting and eclectic sound of their own that has helped them become one of Perth’s hottest young jazz talents. The recipient of the Perth Jazz Society’s 2007 Special Commission, the JLD also performed at the 2008 York Jazz Festival alongside Australian jazz luminary Jamie Oehlers.
