Karin Schaupp
German-born Australian guitarist Karin Schaupp is one of the most outstanding guitarists on the international scene. Apart from many solo performances and recordings, Karin has played with orchestras from around the world and often collaborates with other musicians. Taught mostly by her mother Isolde Schaupp, Karin is now Head of Classical Guitar at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University.
Acacia Quartet
Well known to the Bellingen Fine Music Festival audience, Acacia have been part of the last four Festivals. Since their foundation in 2010, the group is known for their versatile and inventive programs which often couple established repertoire with the unorthodox..
