Premiere of Katia Beaugeais' sound installation, By the Water (aboriginal: Cabarita). Commissioned by the City of Canada Bay Council this work features the beautiful voices of Halcyon, with amplified pre-recorded nature sounds and special lighting effects. The music and text reflects the natural environmental setting of Cabarita Park and climate change issues.
From 5pm - Start of Sound installation + Twilight Exhibition
6:30pm - Presentation of full sound installation piece sung by leading vocal ensemble, Halcyon.
Plus many outdoor activities for all ages, including outdoor movie - Hugo!
