Opera Foundation Australia celebrates 50 years of supporting young Australians in the field of Opera. The winner of the 2013 Lady Fairfax New York Scholarship will be announced at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, following a public recital by the six finalists, on Sunday 28th July 2013 commencing at 4:00pm. The winner will receive $43,000 and the objective of this much valued Scholarship is to provide a talented and strongly motivated young Australian opera singer the opportunity to study with internationally acclaimed vocal, language and movement coaches in New York.
