Influenced by Fado's improvisational style and longing themes, Alma Orquestra’s songs explore migration stories and their living legacies in Australia with captivating rhythms and soaring melodies. Experience the captivating fusion of traditional and contemporary Portuguese music in a mesmerizing fado and piano performance by Ricardo da Silva & Sonia de Freitas. Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of Portugal, these talented musicians will transport you to a realm of emotions, nostalgia, and cultural depth. The enchanting melodies of fado will resonate through the air as Ricardo da Silva, an original of Águeda, Portugal, takes center stage with his soulful vocals.
