Event Details

CANTICUM CHAMBER CHOIR (conductor Emily Cox) performs inspiring works by eloquent musical voices of our time on the powerful theme of light, its imagery and symbolism. Join us in celebrating our 21st birthday with refreshments after the concert.

​In this program of works by eloquent musical voices of our time, we reveal the power of the human voice to stir emotion and create light and shade. The concert includes sonorous and glowing music by Esenvalds, Gjeilo, Lauridsen, Mealor, Thompson, Sixten, as well as Australian composers Terpstra, Gearing and Twist.

We are delighted to include in the programme works by current and former members of the choir, Joseph Twist, Keren Terpstra and Phillip Gearing.  The full repertoire list is here:
