This recital features the premiere performance of the 2010 Lyrebird Commission composed by Peter de Jager - Elegy - trio for piano, viola and oboe (doubling cor anglais. The Lyrebird Commission is an award made annually by the Lyrebird Music Society for a new chamber music work. The award is supported by the Robert Salzer Foundation.
