This rhythm section - Mark Isaacs, piano; Brett Hirst, bass; and Tim Firth, drums - following its 6 year role as the engine room of Mark's fusion-orientated Resurgence band (which released several recordings and toured internationally) is currently enjoying exploring the core jazz tradition in its unique way, and that is what it will do at Colbourne Avenue.
