Vocalist, composer & educator, Kristin Berardi’s career has taken off since she won first place in the 2006 Montreux Jazz Festival’s Shure International Vocal Competition, following on from her 2005 placement in the Australian National Jazz Vocal Competition and winning the 2007 Freedman Fellowship.
She is enjoying phenomenal success leading her own group, the Kristin Berardi Band, which is made up of some of Australia’s leading Jazz artists. They have recently performed at the 2009 Melbourne International Jazz Festival as well as other major festivals and venues around the country.
Captivating audiences with her luminous personality and incredible sense of pitch, she is a composer and emerging talent to watch on the international jazz scene.
