Hebel, the Hebrew word for ‘mist’ or ‘vapour’, is used in Ecclesiastes as a vivid metaphor, portraying the vanity of life as a passing moment against wisdom. Join oboist Liz Chee and pianist Gladys Chua in a concert that juxtaposes folly and frivolity with lament and despair of loss.
