Celebrate the spirit of Jazz!
This free lunchtime concert series presented by Julliard will put a spring in your step and a smile on your face.
Led by Melbourne pianist/ keyboardist and VCA alumna, Louise Goh will be presenting her new solo project accompanied by collaborators Craig Strain (electric bass), Darryn Farrugia (drums) and Gideon Brazil (saxophone / flute). The group are heading into the recording studio in May to record a full-length album of Louise's original compositions.
For this Melbourne International Jazz Festival performance, you can expect some fresh and contemporary sounds, with an emphasis on rhythm and groove and the creation of music in the moment.
