Experience luscious music by women composers with Muses Trio and Friends, in the enlivening company of plants. Para Muses Trio presents a new show of luscious music by women composers, expanding to feature fantastic guest performers from QSO and Ensemble Q for this exclusive Muses Trio + Friends Brisbane Fringe show. We begin with a dreamy duo paying homage to Dulcie Holland (AUS), add the cello for a lyrical world premiere trio performance by Anne Cawrse (SA), broaden to four performers for a fresh Caroline Shaw quartet (US, Australian premiere), and ascend still higher concluding with a show-stopping piano quintet by Elena Kats-Chernin, one of Australia’s most-loved composers.
