Event Details
Music at the Court House presents a stellar afternoon of jazz and world music with Brothers, performing at the Kew Court House Sunday 16 September, 2pm. Brothers is a recipe for world music that takes the jazz-influenced rhythms of master drummer David Jones, bassist Evripides Evripidou and adds the classical Indian music heritage of bansuri master, Vinod Prasanna. The blending of two different musical languages gives each performance a unique quality - allowing the musicians to live in the moment – free to explore the exciting new directions that unfold. Audiences should be prepared for a musical sojourn into hauntingly evocative improvisations, beautiful melodies and stirring rhythms. Music at the Court House is a series which runs on the third Sunday of every month until November.
