Nadene Pita has developed an exploratory sound that encompasses minimalist songs of haunting beauty, sound art and electro-acoustic improvisation. While abstract jazz, experimental folk and classical elements inform her music, her mixed heritage, childhood, surrealist stories and Buddhist philosophy suffuses it with a diversity and humanity. When Pita and her band really let fly, the music can head off into the stratosphere, so don’t miss out on this exciting debut performance.
