Presented by Yamaha Music Australia and in their only performance for 2012, National Australia Brass, conducted by Professor David King, come together for an exclusive performance featuring Australian music. The ensemble will be performing the Australian premiere of Barry McKimm’s Cornet Concerto featuring soloist Paula Russell, and Dr Brenton Broadstock’s Metal on Metal. National Australia Brass brings together the leading brass and percussion players around the country, including Yamaha Youth Brass Artist for 2012, 16 year old cornet player Dominic Longhurst. The concert is proudly supported by Yamaha Music Australia & Fine Music, Hawthorn. BMW Edge, Federation Square – Doors open at 7pm, concert to begin at 7:30pm. Tickets available at the door.
