Ned Kelly (working title) explores the theme of Australian identity through less well-known elements of the iconic Ned Kelly story, building on a central theme of gender roles, cross dressing and dressing up. Australian composer Luke Styles and Australian librettist Peter Goldsworthy will be in town during Perth Festival to work with the Lost & Found team and performers to refine and develop the new opera through workshop.
