Event Details
Newcastle Youth Orchestra presents a program of patriotic works inspired by London's own Last Night at the Proms. With a premiere of an original work by young Newcastle composer William Jeffery, Derek Bourgeois virtuosic trombone concerto performed by the orchestra's very own queen of the lower brass Hannah Gibbons, and other well-known proms favourites for you to join in. This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.
