Event Details
'NOTES FROM THE UNDERCLASS' is a spoken word and sound performance. This work is centered around a performance poem by James Maher which explores the idea of the 'poetic site' and how this relates to the lived experience of working-class and underclass people. Featuring new electro-acoustic compositions by J. Maher, S. Monk & V. Pham and analogue recordings of underclass/working-class/low-SES voices, this performance will explore the intersection between class, poetry and social identity.
Concession card holders may reserve free tickets.
