Event Details

Nova Vocal Ensemble and Christ the King School’s Pueri Cantores Choir present a program of contemporary folk song arrangements from Scotland, Ireland, England, America, the Philippines, and Japan. Also on the program are new pieces that use plainchant melodies, plus selected works from Nova’s “call for scores” over the summer (see On Sutherland’s Grave, below). Two world premieres will be featured: one by composer-in-residence Dale Trumbore and one by Florida composer William Glenn Osborne.
