8pm Outside Trout - This is a new collaborative trio shared by three most excellent musicians who trust one another. They are very excited about the project and look forward to sharing with you at their debut performance for Jazzgroove. Expect open forms, lush sounds and cinematic textures. 9.30pm Doig Collective - A welcome return for one of our scene’s favourite larger ensembles. With each member lending their pen to this sizeable beast for the first time, a string of radio-friendly hits will undoubtedly emerge, that showcase the striking variety of influences and approaches that this Collective of local heroes possess. The Doig-ocracy has been broken.
