Patina creates poetic interconnections across music, image, gesture, time and place through the interplay of dance, calligraphy, electronica, and re-imagined traditional instrumentation.
With music performed by Adelaide’s Gamelan In Situ, Patina is a congruence between ancient traditions and contemporary performance. Shaped by dancers Ade Suharto and Shin Sakuma, and visual artist Juno Oka, this is a cross-cultural exploration at its finest.
