Event Details
Their sound is a synthesis of ideas, influenced by elements of jazz, rock, classical, electronic and folk music, performed in a piano trio context. Their debut album 'Amalgama' (under former name Austin Benjamin Trio) was released on hellosQuare recordings in November 2008.
Trio Apoplectic's (pictured) journey has taken them to many of the regular homes of jazz and improvised music in Australia, as well as areas with little or no live exposure to music. Now after much time on the road they return back to Sydney for their last gig. Ever!
