This high-octane event features a world premiere by North American superstar composer Philip Glass. ICCT Hedral is Glass’s arrangement for orchestra of a work by Aphex Twin, "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music" (The Guardian).
The edge of your seat is not close enough. Highly acclaimed Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra showcases the big names in Latin American orchestral music, including internationally renowned Argentinian composers Osvaldo Golijov and Astor Piazzolla. Expect dynamism, spectacular colour and rhythms hotter than Hades.
