Australian guitarist; Quentin Angus (now New York-based) is "building an international reputation with his brilliant compositional work that is both personal and adventurous" (APRA Art Music Awards 2012).
Quentin has received much international and national recognition, including; three 'International Downbeat Magazine Student Music Awards' in the categories of 'Jazz Soloist' (2012), and 'Jazz Composition' (2011/ 2012), two consecutive 'ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards' (2012/2013), was one of 20 musicians from around the globe selected for both the 2011 and 2013 'Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency' . Angus is also the inaugural winner of the 'Award for Excellence in Jazz' at the '2012 APRA Art Music Awards'.
