Over the last 5 years identical twins Paul and Noel Mason have blazed a path through the Sydney music industry. Both acclaimed virtuosos in their own right, the two have a rich and diverse musical vocabulary. Paul has an identity on the guitar all his own and Noel has a serious groove and sweetness to his sound on the bass. The two have a unique musical chemistry and between them have been called to perform alongside the “who’s who” of both popular music and jazz. Some of these credits include James Morrison, Jessica Mauboy, Dale Barlow and Steve Clisby. Tonight at Jazzgroove Paul presents his band “The Paul Mason Power Trio”. With a focus on high energy interaction between band members and instrumental prowess it’s sure to be an entertaining night of music.

What is Jazzgroove? Jazzgroove is a not-for-profit organisation presenting high-quality original and improvised music from various jazz related cannons. Our focus is on musicians who are in the early stages of forming a national and international career. Jazzgroove's purpose is to nurture upcoming musicians by allowing a platform and performance opportunity to an established audience through our weekly Tuesday double bill events, marketing/ promotion support while also providing a dialogue and mentorship between past Jazzgroove performers and more experienced musicians.
