Shakti Spirit is special as it marks the first ever collaboration between renowned Australian jazz artists Sandy Evans, Jess Green and the transcending Indian Carnatic vocalist Nadhamuni Gayatri Bharath and ghatam artist Prahlad Iyer. They are creating an original in support of raising awareness around Type1 Diabetes. All profits from ticket sales will be donated to Insulin for life Australia that supports kids and individuals with Insulin supply in and around the world. We want to show the world power of collaboration through this concert and ignite a passion for arts in the next generation by giving them a stage while showing how creativity can go hand in hand with philanthropy.
