Sonus Piano Quartet unites four masterful musicians for their inaugural Chamber Music season of three elegant concerts at The Independent: Aiko Goto - Australian Chamber Orchestra violinist; Jacqui Cronin on viola; Timothy Nankervis - Sydney Symphony Orchestra cellist; and Brenda Jones - international pianist. Each concert will be preceded by a talk by a guest speaker at 2.30pm. The guest speaker for this concert will be Australian composer Paul Stanhope and the program includes Stanhope's Agnus Dei "After the Fire" (2010).
