The culimination of a three-year residency at ANAM, ELISION Ensemble returns with a program that captures the precision, intensity and imagination that define their work.
Recognised as Australia’s leading new music ensemble, ELISION unites musicians based across Europe, the United States and Australia, known for their technical mastery and commitment to exploring new sonic possibilities. Over three decades, the group has built close collaborations with composers including Liza Lim, Richard Barrett, Mary Bellamy, Aaron Cassidy and Evan Johnson, creating a repertoire that demands both virtuosity and daring.
Sorcerer features ELISION on its own, a concert that reveals why this ensemble continues to shape the direction of contemporary music in Australia and beyond.
