Event Details

FINNLAND (9pm) Inspired by the Neil and Tim Finn songbook, FinnLand features two of the most respected vocal artists working in Australian jazz today. Described by James Morrison as “the greatest gift to Australian jazz vocals in the last decade”, the exquisite Emma Pask pays tribute to these iconic compositions alongside the warm and powerful tones of Darren Percival. Conceived by jazz pianist Gerard Masters, FinnLand brings together leading Australian artists to reinterpret these popular classics. This is FinnLand’s first intimate headline show after a fantastic year of sold-out festival shows in 2016, including Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Berry Jazz Festival, Tauranga Jazz Festival (NZ) and the Manly Jazz Festival.

Not only an accomplished jazz player, he is also a sought after session musician, collaborating with leading country and contemporary artists including Missy Higgins, Wes Carr and the Potbelleez.
