Event Details
Sydney Symphony Fellows is an intensive one year fellowship intergrating chamber music, mentored by the national leading orchestras, playing especially commissioned works by leading Australian composers. Under the guidance of Artistic Director, Roger Benedict, their final program of the year is entitled ‘Emerging composers’ and a new work has been chosen in a national competition for young composers to be premiered. The performers will also play works selected from the early collections of established composers Britten, Mendelssohn and Schoenberg. Spend a Sunday afternoon with the Fellows and a programme of fine music not to be missed.
Featured non-Australian music: Britten, Mendelssohn, Schoenberg
