Event Details
Take part in this series of sound-based creative workshops with Super Critical Mass (Julian Day and Luke Jaaniste), whose practice merges sound, space and social relations. You will use the Federation Handbells to explore the unique acoustics of the Gallery and contribute toward the creative development of a final massed performance on the closing weekend of APT8 (the 8th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art) on 9-10 April.
Each workshop will build upon the last, so come along to as many as you like! You don't need any prior musical training. Drop-ins welcome, no bookings required. Please note this workshop features physical activity, with lifting of heavy bells (2kg +) involved.
The workshop will take place in the GOMA River Lounge.
