Event Details
Celebrating the world of microtonal music across all genres, Sydney MicroFest returns for the fourth time, with three concerts at Kogarah School of Arts on Sunday, June 12. A sister event to the prestigious MicroFest (LA) and Euro MicroFest, the music featured in Sydney MicroFest offers audiences the opportunity to experience notes-between-the-notes, promising to ‘open your ears and excite your inner musical experience’, with a multitude of instruments and some pieces triggering electric tones and coloured light. With twenty esteemed performers throughout the program, active in Microtonal University (run by the director of the American Festival of Microtonal Music), concert goers have the option of purchasing a Day Pass to all three concerts, or a single pass to a session of their choice.
Featured non-Australian music: Skullen a Coldie at the Servo with M8tes by Peter Thoegersen
