The Chanterelle String Quartet draws its members from the string sections of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Each of the musicians has a passion and love for chamber music. The Chanterelle String Quartet performed in the inaugural concert for the Sydney Symphony’s Utzon Room Cocktail Concert Series in 2014. As well as performing for prestigious Sydney Symphony events they play for the Mozart Society, The Delmar Federated Music Clubs of Australia, Hunters Hill and Roseville music clubs. They appear regularly in the Sydney Symphony’s Night Lounge Series and in this series at St James’.
The quartet made its debut in 2010 in the SSO Spring Chamber Music Series.
